The administrative building and the Steel Service Center of Steelimpex Ltd. have been equipped with additional photovoltaic capacities. Thus, the total installed power increased up to 1250 kW. The green energy now powers the laser cutting machines for sheet metal and profiles, the metalworking workshop, and the powder coating facility for metal products. With this step, all production and office buildings of Steelimpex Ltd. are now fully powered by renewable energy.
This new investment is part of our ambitious development program aiming at achieving complete energy independence. The production of precision electric-welded steel tubes and profiles is highly energy-intensive and strongly dependent on electricity prices. Our Service Center offers laser cutting, metalworking, blasting, and powder coating for a wide range of metal products, including table and desk legs and bases, shelves and racks, interior decorative and fencing panels, facade elements, and more.
By expanding our solar power capacity, we do not only achieve lower production costs despite rising electricity prices, gaining a competitive advantage, but also remain committed to our goals for sustainable development and carbon neutrality.
